The Puppy Panel is a small fence barrier under the gate that stops small
puppies from rushing out when the gate is opened. It helps to train
them to wait for the person to take them out. It is also popular in
areas that have a lot of snow and freezing. The gate is high enough
off the ground that it does not freeze down and you don't need to
shovel snow to open your kennel until it is a foot deep.
A basic pen is made up of 4 frames and a gate. Each frame uses 4 corner clamps. We highly recommend the gate design that is pictured, one that uses a gate frame that is at least a foot wider than the gate. This section in the frame adds a lot of strength to the gate frame when the mesh is laced in. Even if you want your pen or run to be 3 feet wide we recommend a 2 foot gate in a 3 foot frame.
Risers are used to elevate the kennel holding it above the floor so that you can use a water hose and wash out under the kennels. They should only be used on cement floors or other hard level surfaces. Use at least 2 risers per frame. (T-Support clamps can also be used as risers (if you have an unleveled floor use a pipe in the t-support clamp to adjust the height of the riser)
Double clamps are used to fasten the corners together or to fasten two frames end to end.
T-Support clamps are used to fasten a pipe at a right angle within a frame, for upright or cross support. They come in 2 sizes: 3/4 to 3/4 and 3/4 to 1/2 ( to fit 3/4" ID water pipe or 1/2" ID water pipe) They can also be used as risers (if you have an unleveled floor use a pipe in the T-Support clamp to adjust the height of the riser)
